How to make a request
- Email privacy@wagilo.co.uk from the email address attached to your Wagilo account.
- Use the subject “Account deletion request”.
- State whether the request concerns a Wagilo business account or an owner portal account. Do not send your password.
Verification
We may ask for limited information to confirm that you control the account. This protects accounts from unauthorised deletion.
What will be deleted
Once verified, we will delete or anonymise the account and personal data controlled by Wagilo, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, dispute-resolution or financial-record purposes.
Dog-care business records
A dog-care professional may be the controller of client, dog, booking and care records entered through Wagilo. Dog owners should normally ask their provider to correct or delete those records first. We will assist the provider where required and will explain if a record cannot immediately be deleted.
Timing
We will acknowledge the request and explain the expected completion date. Privacy-rights requests are handled within the time limits required by applicable data-protection law.
Deleting an app from a phone does not by itself delete the associated Wagilo account.
